Family Fellowship Thursday 18th March 7.30pm in the main hall Mr Jon Avon who is Head Ranger of Stover Country Park, is giving a most interesting illustrated talk which displays the park’s natural beauty and wild life to excellent effect.   Everyone is most welcome  Admission of £2.50 includes the usual refreshments  Your support will be most appreciated

 

Passion For Life Mission  Monday 22nd March 7.30pm in St Paul’s  Speaker: Peter Woodcock Music from our Gospel Choir Refreshments follow  Do come & invite your friends! This is a wonderful opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus. Passion for Life DVDs and prayer leaflets will be distributed to members of our congregations in the weeks before.  Do take one and watch it!  We also have copies of St Luke’s Gospel to give out.

Palm Sunday Lunch – 28th March 12noon  Price £4.50 (including coffee)  All welcome The Manageress of the Paignton Day Centre, Mrs Ann Harding cooks the main course at the annual Barnabas Lunch.  We have no facilities here to cook for the 100+ people, so it is with much gratitude that we are please to arrange a fund raising meal for the Centre.  Please support Ann. A Note For Your Diary Sunday afternoon 27th June – An invitation to the congregation of St Paul’s Church to listen to a CD recording of ‘Mass For The Children’ by John Rutter; sung by the South Devon Choir & The Mini Minstrels.  A feature of this performance is the singing of the Mini Minstrels, a children’s choir from North Devon.  There will be a reminder nearer the time.

 

St Paul’s Players There is to be a new group starting at St Paul’s by Mary Kilby (from the choir) called ‘St Paul’s Players’.  The aim is to produce an ‘old time music hall’ sometime in the spring or Whitsun. The group will meet weekly on Mondays for rehearsals from 6pm – 7pm in the choir vestry. All ages and talents are welcome to join. Transport To & From Church If you are in need of a lift to church, or can offer a lift to anyone needing one in your area, please put your name and telephone number on the sheet in the porch.

 

For The Benefit Of Hearing-Aid Users The church is fitted with a loop system.  This will be heard to best advantage in the pews in the area between the rows of pillars (rather than the chairs in the side aisles).  If there is any problem with volume or audibility please consult the sound system operator.
