Who we are
Churchmanship of St Paul's
How does
St Paul's stand?
In
all essentials firmly by the Christian faith as taught by
the Bible and proclaimed in the Creed, the practice of
prayer, the balance of Word and Sacrament, and seeking to
live in the power of the Holy Spirit.
As
a Church of England congregation we try to cover a broad
spectrum in our services with contemporary forms of Common
Worship at the main service on Sunday morning, the book of
Common Prayer at the 8.00 a.m., and a varied programme on
Sunday evenings ranging from the prayer book to free style
praise services.
There
is welcome and care for people, whether adults, young people
or children, and a vision to share the Good News of Jesus
with others.
